Create a backup policy
- In the Katapult Console, navigate to Storage > Disks.
- Select your disk and open its Details page.
- Under the Disk actions section, click Disk backup policies.
- Click Add new disk backup policy.
- Enter a value for the number of backups you'd like to retain.
- Select a backup schedule.
- Click Create disk backup policy.
- Your backup policy is now active.
Create a backup manually
- In the Katapult Console, navigate to Storage > Disk backup policies.
- Select the backup policy you want to trigger.
- Click Initiate backup now under the Actions section.
- The backup process will begin.
Delete a backup
- In the Katapult Console, navigate to Storage > Disks.
- Select your disk and open its Details page.
- Under the Disk actions section, click Disk Backups.
- From the list, select the backup you want to delete.
- Click Move to Trash under the Actions section.
- Confirm the deletion.
- The backup will be moved to the trash.
Delete a backup policy
- In the Katapult Console, navigate to Storage > Disk backup policies.
- Select the backup policy you want to delete.
- Click Move to Trash under the Actions section.
- Confirm the deletion.
- Your backup policy will be moved to the trash.
