What is Krystal Identity?

Krystal Identity is a secure identity and access management service that handles user authentication, authorization and organization management for Katapult and other Krystal products.

Where did Users & Roles go in the Katapult dashboard?

Those screens have moved to Krystal Identity. In Katapult, where you would previously manage users and roles, you will now find a banner with a link. Click it and you'll land in Identity on the correct page.

Are organizations in the Krystal Client Area integrated with Identity?

Not yet. Only Katapult organizations are synced to Krystal Identity today. Krystal Web hosting accounts keep their own organization data, although users still sign in through Identity.

How is billing handled right now?

Each service still bills you separately. When you buy Katapult resources you pay Katapult; if you buy another product you pay that product. Consolidated billing inside Identity is on the roadmap.

Where do I see the billing contact?

In the Katapult dashboard: Billing → Billing Contacts.

Is there an API for Identity?

There is now a public REST API available for Identity. See https://apidocs.k.io/identity/ for details.
