Quickstart

Upload an ISO​

  1. In the Katapult Console, navigate to Storage > ISOs.
  2. Click Create a new ISO.
  3. Upload a file from your computer or enter a download URL.
  4. Enter a descriptive name for your ISO.
  5. Click Create ISO.

Your ISO will be uploaded and ready to use with virtual machines.

Attach ISO to a virtual machine​

  1. Navigate to your virtual machine's details page.
  2. Click Attach virtual CD/ISO button.
  3. Find your ISO in the list and click Attach to VM.

The ISO is now attached to your virtual machine.

Boot from ISO​

  1. In your virtual machine's ISOs tab, ensure your ISO is attached.
  2. Go to the Settings tab.
  3. Set Boot from to CD/DVD.
  4. Restart your virtual machine.

Your virtual machine will now boot from the attached ISO.

Delete an ISO​

  1. Navigate to Storage > ISOs.
  2. Select the ISO you want to delete.
  3. In the Actions section, click Move to trash.
  4. Confirm the deletion.

The ISO will be moved to trash and automatically deleted after 48 hours.
